Funnily enough this all working out well for me , decided last autumn , seeing as i still had all of mine, why not let it grow.
Family were horrified, but I have regained that aging hippy look and as the Big Yin would say , I feel it makes me windswept and interesting. Also for those following this path it is a great time to try out that new ponytail. Fucking no-one around and people rushing around like extras from "War of the Worlds" or "Contagion" with face masks on all lends to a feeling of satisfaction with the general look and a knowledge that being ridiculed is greatly diminished due to the state of others.
If you are going for the long hair look , be prepared for the jibes, the bald brigade will brag that at least their hair had the decency to fall out before what they perceive as a not so good look could develop. And have a fallback excuse, your barber has got the Miley and you are not going to risk the nations health by travelling to find another.
Strike "windswept and interesting" and replace with "windswept and more interesting even".

Manuel son,hope your'e healthy.
Mate,i had a fucking mane years ago,getting it dry was a bastard,hence the use of Sisters hairdryer. Had it shorn in my 20's and used to run a comb through it daily. Gets rid of the KNOTS mate.

Not had mine cut for about 4-5 weeks now.
Just looks messy rather than long.
Would shave the fucker but finally at that age where its a gamble whether or not it'd grow back

WTF is this?? I've never owned a comb in my life, never use a hairdryer, and rarely use conditioner. Would imagine it's the same for most blokes. You can't be that fucking ancient, 1son??

Hairdressers are all skint at the moment as they declare a tiny fraction of what they earn, so just go round their house and they'll give you a professional haircut cheaper than usual. Had mine done on Tuesday and as I was getting paid by work at the time it was a double win!

I'm going for it.
Majority of my friends are going skinhead, as it's a cut that can't be fucked up.
My feeling is that hippy looks better on the old than skinhead.
